6.3. Water usage and care
6.3.1. Wastewater treatment
Residual water from AC is contained inside gallons. This residual water will be reused for watering plants, radiator water, and cleaning toilets. There are several reasons why we chose these methods for reusing the residual water:
Other liquid waste at the Faculty of Psychology is disposed through a concrete septic tank to prevent any leakage into the ground.

6.3.3. Free drinking water provided
The Faculty of Psychology has two drinking-water fountains located near the center of the faculty area. These water fountains are free and could be used by anyone in the area. People who want to use the water fountain can prepare a water bottle to be filled or drink directly from the faucet at the end part of the fountain. We also maintain and clean the water fountains regularly to ensure the safety and hygiene when used. With these drinking-water fountains, all students, staff and visitors can access free and healthy water to drink.

6.3.5. Water-conscious planting
The Faculty of Psychology has many greenery plants inside and near the area of the faculty. The plants include banyan tree, kapok tree, and many grass-type plants. These kinds of plants don’t need any maintenance and can be left alone to grow by itself. In the rainy season, we don’t need to water it. While in the dry season, we only need to water it occasionally. Thus, we can save water while maintaining the greenery environment in our faculty.

6.4. Water reuse
6.4.1. Water re-use policy
The Faculty of Psychology is reusing residual water from AC for watering plants, radiator water, and cleaning toilets. There are several reasons why we chose these methods for reusing the residual water:

6.5. Water in the community
6.5.2. Promoting conscious water usage
In every toilet at the Faculty of Psychology, a sticker is attached behind the sink faucet for faucets and equipment that does not use automatic sensors as a reminder to save water when using toilet facilities.

6.5.4. Sustainable water extraction on campus
The Faculty of Psychology implements the Rain Ground Tank System to extract water. This method makes rainwater naturally be absorbed into the ground. By doing this, we utilize the natural water cycle, so the rainwater can be contained and absorbed optimally.
