COOPERATION WITH OTHER UNIVERSITIES
The UI Faculty of Psychology offers a cross-campus program with the University of Queensland, Australia, through the International Class Program. Under the program, students study for two years in Indonesia with an adapted curriculum, and continue their studies for the last two years in Australia. The UI Faculty of Psychology has also sent its students to become international students at overseas universities, such as at Macquarie University, Australia, and the University for Foreigners of Perugia, Italy.
To be able to expand the knowledge of students and lecturers of the Faculty of Psychology, UI invited guests from several universities and institutions in Indonesia and abroad, such as from the University of Queensland (Assoc. Prof. Peter Newcombe, Prof. Virginia Slaughter, Prof. Ottmar Lipp, Prof. Matthew Hornsey, Dr. Philip Grove, Dr. Emma Collier-Baker, and Prof. Robyn M. Gillies), University of Texas (“The Expression of Personality in Everyday Contexts” with Prof. Sam Gosling), Center for Decision Technologies – Stevens Institute of Technology (“Understanding social dynamics through online behavior” with Winter Mason, Ph.D.), and Daya Dimensi Indonesia (“The Architect of Assessment Center For Public and Private Organizations” with Dr. William C. Byham, chairman and CEO of Development Dimensions International).
Furthermore, the UI Faculty of Psychology also sent its lecturers as visiting scholars at the University of Queensland. In addition to inviting and sending lecturers, the UI Faculty of Psychology also develops lecturers by sending them to study assignments at international universities such as Radbound University Nijmegen, Nagoya University, University of Gronigen, University of Queensland, and University of Oslo.
