Calculation for Educator’s teaching time Equalizer

A r t I c l e 3

EWMP for an ordinary teaching staff is set at 12 credits which can be spread into assignments Institutions as follows:

1. Educating: 2-8 credits
2. Research and Scientific Development : 2-6 credits
3. Community Service: 1-6 credits
4. Academic community Development : 1-4 credits

Administration and Management: 0-3 credits (Except for permanent positions whose equivalence is specifically determined.).

EWMP is calculated for all Institutions that are relevant to where the educator is. For the implementation of above institutional duties, the concerned educator may be given special honorarium or imbalance in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Equivalent of functional tasks in credits is determined as follows:

1. Every S0 and S1 group at most contain around 40 students for 1 semester, 1 hour of face to face each week, 1 hour of independent activities, 1 hour of structured activities equivalent of 1 credits.
2. Lectures at s2 and s3 level at most contain around 25 students each group. 1 semester, 1 hour of face to face each week, 1 hour of independent activities, 1 hour of structured activities equivalent of 1 credits.
3. Lecture assistance or practical assistance for each group consists of at most 25 students for 1 semesters 2 hours of face to face equal to 1 credits.
4. Programmed course for those who are also working while taking their studies, each group consists of 25 students at most, activities equivalent to 50 hours of work per semester, equal to 1 credit.
5. Scheduled Seminars for each group that consist of maximum of 25 students for 1 semester. 1 hour of face to face per week, equal to 1 credit.
6. Guidance for S0 and S1 final assignment with maximum of 6 students equal to 1 credit.
7. Guidance for S2 thesis of maximum 3 students for 1 semester equal to 1 credit.
8. S3 thesis or dissertation guidance for a maximum of 2 students for 1 semester equal to 1 credit.

Research and knowledge development.

1. Involvement in 1 research title that is conducted by a group. (Approved by the leadership and achieved) equal to 2 credits.
2. Independent Research (Approved by the leadership and is recorded) is equal to 4 credits.
3. Write 1 title of book manuscript that will be published at most within 4 semester in the future (Approved and noted by the leadership.) is equal to 3 credits.
4. Translating a book manuscript that will be published at most within 4 semester in the future (Approved and noted by the leadership) is equal to 2 credits.
5. Editing one book title that will be published maximum of 4 semesters (approved by the leadership and is recorded) is equal to 2 credits.
6. Study assignment for S2 and S3 is equal to 12 credits.
7. Teaching Assignment is equal to 6 credits

Civil Service

1. 1 Activities that is equivalent to 50 work hour each semester (Approved by the leadership) is equal to 1 credits.

Academic Community Development

2. Academic Guidance for every 12 students is equal to 1 credit.
3. Guidance and Counseling for every 12 students is equal to 1 credit.
4. Being a guidance counselor for 1 Student club/circle/activities unit is equal to 1 credit.
5. Being a leader for an internal social organization is equal to 1 credit.

Administration and Management

Structural Role:

1. Being a Rector is equal to 12 credits; Rector’s assistant is equal to 10 credits; dean is equal to 10 credits. Head of an organization is equal to 8 credits; Being a secretary for the organization is equal to 6 credits; being the head of UPT Is equal to 8 credits; Being a dean assistant is equal to 6 credits; Being the head of a major is equal to 6 credits; being the secretary to a major is worth 4 credits; being a department head is equal to 6 credits; being the secretary to a department s worth 4 credits; Head of Laboratory/Studio is equal to 4 credits; and being the head of a hall is worth 4 credits;

Non-structural role:

2. University Senate Secretary is equal to 4 credits; Being the Faculty Senate Secretary is equal to 4 credits; being the head of a study major is equal to 4 credits;
3. Being the leader of an ad hoc committee (In which the committee has been standing for at least 2 semester) is equal to 1 credit

Being the head of a committee (In which the Committee must stood for at least 2 semester:

1. University level is worth 2 credits;
2. Faculty Level is worth 2 credits;
3. Major level is worth 1 credit.
